Position Overview:
As the Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of GFO Home by leading and developing our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in new home sales, a strategic mindset, and the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Development:

  • Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the sales team.

2. Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to develop effective sales campaigns.

 

3. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, real estate professionals, and industry partners.
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively.

4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track the success of the sales team.
  • Provide regular and insightful reporting on sales metrics and trends to senior management.

5. Budget Management:

  • Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the sales budget.
  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure alignment with financial objectives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales management role within the new home builders’ industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  •  Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
  • In-depth knowledge of the real estate market and trends.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  •  Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in new home sales, with 5 years in a leadership role.
